It wasn't bad for a first time animation at all. But keep in mind, stick animations are a dime a dozen. And for frequent flash cartoon viewers like myself (and most people on ng) they are mostly very annoying. And from the perspective of another animator, like myself, it is seen as a cop out from making real characters.

Thanks. This was rather experamental. I learned the basics of flash through this animation, which was a six month process. I'm very proud of this being my first. For the future, expect this to turn out to be a comedy. When it's finished, it'll end up making fun of stick fights and madness type things.

animation was okay, graphics were pretty good, but it just wasn't funny. The deaths were cheesy and very looney-tooney.

you have animation down, just work on being funny.

[The truth about war...]

okay...herre we go

for the most part, yeah, we are pawns in a game of chess controlled by some crazy republican somewhere. However, this flash didn't really cover the subject that well. And the point that AJ-47 brought up about the other reasons for war... he said:

"Freedom or Liberty or Indepedence, Conquest, Love, Protection, Retribution, or even Survival." That's seven reasons. let me correct him as well. ahem.

First of all, he said Freedom or liberty. These two words are constantly tossed around to make people (pawns) feel more devoted to their government. Plus, aren't freedom and independance pretty much the same thing? The both basically mean being able to do things your way and not under the control of others right? okay. Down to six.

And as I said, Liberty is a pretty bullshit word used by christian conservatives to make everyone feel like their special. It only creates pompus, arrogant pricks. Thusly, more war. OUT. Down to five.

Protection and survival are pretty much the same thing. I mean, you protect yourself so you can survive right? Last time I checked, survival is the prime objective here. So how do we do this? We protect ourselves so the prime objective isn't in trouble. Down to four.

And retribution? No no no... wars are not fought just to retribute yourself. Not any GOOD wars anyway. We got three now.

I'll leave conquest and independance alone, but love? Now this makes no sense. Who fights a war for love? JUST love? "I will now show my love for something by destroying other things!" That doesn't click.

So okay, war is fought for independance, conquest, and revenge. Look at any major war and you'll see that I'm right.

I wouldn't say it was ideological dribble either, but it was rather unpolished. Make another one with more support for your claims if you really want to grab some people's attention. I gave it a 5 for potential.

Thankyou for your constructive critisism of this piece. I will come out with another for sure, with, as quite a few have suggested, more animation and more content. I've had alot of misunderstanding over this piece(mainly because of our big american ego's) that this piece was done as an anti bush thing. I'll come up with something next time that better explains the content that this is not just about america and the people we have lost but everyone in all culture's that have lost someone to our need to kill each other, no matter the reason.
